Dead Space 2 Review

2008's Dead Space was a lovely addition to the survival horror genre that was badly in need of a zombie bite to the arm after being dominated for so long by the Silent Hill and Resident Evil series. Dead Space 2 is Visceral Games attempt to improve on...

Another thing that takes getting used to is the fact that the necromorphs are incredibly weak until you level them up. If you don’t know how to use them properly you’ll get pwned every time without making a single scratch in your opponents. At best...

Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2's thrilling campaign and intense multiplayer make it an excellent game and a worthy follow-up to its superb predecessor.

Campaign starts strong and ends strong ; Dismembering necromorphs is as thrilling as ever ; Some great new necromorph types ; Wonderfully atmospheric visuals and sound design ; Exhilarating multiplayer

No significant gameplay advances over the first game ; Single-player falls into predictable rhythm for a while ; Some dull objectives

Dead Space 2: Severed Review

Severed places an ungainly weight on the shoulders of dismemberment combat for this extension of Dead Space: Extraction's fiction, creating a dichotomy as uncomfortable as traipsing backwards through already tired levels.

Dead Space 2

Of the three years since the events of the original Dead Space, Isaac Clarke remembers nothing, and finds himself in a straight-jacket on a station on Saturn's Moon: Titan. Although not much actually happened in these three years (bar the events of...

Knights Contract

Knights Contract’s Heinrich is the antithesis of your typical video game protagonist. He’s old, arthritic, and scarred from head-to-toe. He walks with a limp, and every word he utters carries the sorrow of a lifetime of depression....

Dead Space 2 (Xbox 360)

Yeah, Isaac, could you just get down to the third deck? Someone's cacked out the toilets again.

Dead Space 2 is an excellent game. It has improved upon the original, added a remarkably fun team based MP mode (thank god there’s no deathmatch) but for the most part has been made in very much the same vein of its precursor, it’s certainly not lost...

Dead Space 2

If you think things are bad for you at the moment, just be thankful you're not Isaac Clarke, the Dead Space series main protagonist. Isaac's troubled story picks up roughly three years after the events in Dead Space. After the horrible events that took...

Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2 isn't just a by-the-numbers sequel offering more enemies and bigger explosions. It has those, don't mistake, but it also offers so much more.

Better gameplay, more action, Isaac talks, great visuals and sound

Not much story progression, not enough boss fights, some generic levels

A worthy adversary.

Dead Space 2

Dead Space 2 is here and Games Xtreme takes a long look at the game, testing the Necromorphs to destruction.

Dead Space 2 is better than the previous game in all ways, it has a lot more going for it and the choice to give Isaac a voice is a welcome one. Buy it now!
