Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless review: Bluetooth without compromise

How do you improve one of the best pair of headphones on the market? Make them wireless that's how.

High-end audio performance, full-range 40mm drivers, easy-paring, Bluetooth aptX support for lossless reception, extremely comfortable to wear

No active noise cancellation as that can come at a cost to the audio performance

To be honest, while the P5 Wireless headphones were very well received last year, we have been secretly pining for these for a while. They suit the current trend of wire-free connectivity without any compromise in audio performance whatsoever.

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless review

Bower's and Wilkins P7 Wireless ($400, £320, AU$600) is one of the swankier wireless headphones available, competing with such "premium" over-ear wireless models as the Bose QuietComfort 35 , Sennheiser Momentum Wireless , Sony MDR-1000X and Sennheiser...

The Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless offers impressive build quality, good comfort and smooth, rich sound in an over-the-ear headphone design that shuts out a lot of external noise. Wireless operation is nearly flawless, battery life is good and a premium...

Its sound may be a little warm for some listeners, and it's a little heavy.

The Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless is an excellent wireless headphone that has the look, feel and sound of a premium wireless headphone.

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless

The attractive Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless headphones deliver a powerful Bluetooth listening experience.

Powerful, vibrant audio performance with excellent bass response and clarity in the highs. Lovely, luxurious design. Includes a cable for passive listening.

Very expensive. Headband can feel a tad uncomfortable on long listening periods. Cable has no inline remote or mic.

Conclusions For $400, the Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless sounds, looks, and feels like a luxury product. If you're shopping in this higher price tier, there are plenty of compelling wireless options, so it's worth reading up on the JBL Everest Elite 700...

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless

Some would say Bowers & Wilkins was a little slow to adopt Bluetooth technology. It only recently dipped its toes in the waters with the T7 Bluetooth speaker, which was soon followed by the P5 Wireless headphones, both of which proved very capable.

Third time’s the charm for Bowers & Wilkins and Bluetooth – the P7 Wireless look and sound great.

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless Headphones Review

It was way back in 2013 that we reviewed Bowers & Wilkins P7 headphones. The headphones exuded luxury and they sounded great. Here in 2016, Bowers & Wilkins has finally taken the plunge into wireless with the P7 — the company ended its long abstinence...

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless review: Cutting the cord

Brilliant-sounding Bluetooth headphones, but they're quite pricey

Bower & Wilkins’ P7 wireless headphones are all luxe and great performance

It was announced on the second day of the month, and, well, here it is: The wireless version of Bower & Wilkins' P7 headphones

Now it’s time for honesty: Not everyone is in the market for a $400 pair of headphones. But, if you happen to be, love the color black (which you should) and are conscious about Bluetooth’s inevitable rise (hopefully), then they’re worth a look. Or,...

Klang ; neutrale Abstimmung ; Verarbeitung ; Tragekomfort
